Kerala Honeymoons
Slow mornings on still water, dinners lit by oil lamps, and days shaped entirely around the two of you.

Lumiere Holidays began with a quiet discomfort: somewhere along the way, travel became a product. A grid of prices, a bus with a flag, a checklist of sights seen through glass. We wanted to make the opposite — journeys composed the way a good letter is written: personally, unhurriedly, with someone particular in mind.
From our studio in Kochi we design travel through Kerala and a shortlist of places abroad that we know first-hand. We plan slowly, book carefully, and stay reachable for every day you are away. The result is not a package. It is your journey, and it could not belong to anyone else.
Why Lumiere
Every itinerary starts from a blank page and a conversation, never from a template.
We live where you are traveling. Our recommendations come from lived Sundays, not search results.
Fewer places, better chosen. We would rather you remember three things deeply than photograph thirty.
Drivers, hosts, tables, tickets — confirmed twice and mentioned once, so the journey feels effortless.
One number that answers: before you fly, while you travel, and after you are home.

Guest stories
“For ten days we did not open a single booking app. Someone had already thought of everything — the houseboat dinner we never asked for, the room that faced the sunrise. It felt less like a package and more like a gift from someone who knew us.”
“Traveling with my parents and two children usually means I come home more tired than I left. This time the drives were short, the hotels were ready for us, and when our train ran late one WhatsApp message fixed the whole evening. My father still talks about the boat race.”
“We asked for the Kerala that people actually live in, and that is exactly what we were given — a morning with a mural painter, dinner in a family kitchen in Thrissur, a guide who felt like an old friend by day three. Extraordinary, and quietly done.”
The journal

The questions we ask before we suggest a single hotel — and why the best itineraries begin nowhere near a map.

What actually happens on a houseboat before breakfast — and why we build whole journeys around these two unhurried hours.
Share a rough idea — a month, a mood, a milestone — and we will shape it into a journey.
